Kim here!<br \/>\nI want to tell you about art contest for children that\u2019s taking place at <a href=\"https:\/\/maido-bob.osaka\/en\/2021\/05\/27\/kinutani-koji-tenku-art-museum\/\">Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/maido-bob.osaka\/en\/spot\/umeda-sky-building-kuchuteien-observatory\/\">Umeda Sky Building<\/a>. The paintings will be judged, by none other than 2021 Order of Culture  recipient, Koji Kinutani. What an amazing honor it would be to have him view your art!<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border-radius: 0px; background: #f7f7f7;\">\n<h2 style=\"color: #0175c8; margin: 10px 0 0;\">\uff3bContents\uff3d<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#anchor1\">Contestant artwork displayed in museum and booklet<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#anchor2\">Order of Culture recipient, Koji Kinutani as chief judge<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#anchor3\">Entering the contest\u2014draw important themes like nature and townscapes<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"anchor1\" style=\"color: #0175c8;\">\u25a0Contestant artwork displayed in museum and booklet<\/h2>\n<p>The contest theme is <strong>\u201cpeople, nature, and townscapes that matter to you.\u201d<\/strong> I\u2019m sure everyone has family members and friends that they care about, scenery that has been the backdrop for good memories. <\/p>\n<p>The first step is choosing what to draw.<br \/>\nIf I were to enter the contest, I would probably draw my good friend Bob. Or maybe a part of Osaka that I love. Which reminds me, the Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum is located on one of the top floors of Umeda Sky Building and the scenery is amazing! <\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the New Years celebrations are fresh in your mind or you\u2019ll get some inspiration at an upcoming graduation ceremony. What a special thing to have your artwork exhibited and published in book-form. And at the award ceremony you would get a chance to meet Koji Kinutani, himself!<br \/>\nWinning a prize would be an amazing experience. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"anchor3\" style=\"color: #0175c8;\">\u25a0Order of Culture recipient, Koji Kinutani as chief judge<\/h2>\n<p>There are many art contests out there, sure. His work is renowned for its colorful and vivid style. Besides designing official posters for the 1998 Nagano Olympics, he has designed murals and ceiling paintings for a number of buildings. Last year (2021), he received the  <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Order_of_Culture\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Order of Culture<\/a> , an honor conferred by the Emperor of Japan. <\/p>\n<p>It would be such an honor to have someone of this caliber view your artwork!<br \/>\nThe contest is run by the same Sekisui House that manages <a href=\"https:\/\/maido-bob.osaka\/en\/spot\/koji-kinutani-tenku-art-museum\/\">Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum<\/a>, and brandishes \u201chumanity\u201d as their fundamental corporate philosophy while promoting the arts.<br \/>\nIn 2019, the museum was awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/kidsdesignaward.jp\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kids Design Award<\/a> for fresco experience workshops hosted at Koji Kinutani Tenku Museum. And they have continued their efforts to afford opportunities to children nationwide to take part in the joy and creative fulfillment that comes with making art. <\/p>\n<p>The aim of the contest is to \u201cRelay the wonder of the arts to as many children as possible while seeking out the shining talent in the diversity of individuals and the vast possibilities carried amongst the next generation and to provide an opportunity to nurture their hopes and dreams for tomorrow.\u201d<br \/>\nWhat an amazing concept! I totally agree! This concept encourages creativity, and the concept is about enjoying our expressive freedoms.
