The long and arduous preparation season is finally coming to an end!<\/p>\n<p>Students are extra cautious not to catch a cold, and are full of exam anxiety as their exam dates approach.<\/p>\n<p>With these students in mind, I have written a special article that I hope can help them, if even in a small way!<\/p>\n<p>Praying and bringing good luck charms might be helpful, right? Students from all over Japan make a special trip to this shrine during exam season to pray for good luck. Osaka people affectionately call the shrine Tenma&#8217;s Tenjin-san, since it is locate in a neighborhood called Tenma.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s similar to a Ganesha temple in Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Osaka Tenmangu Shrine is famous for the summer Tenjin Festival, one of Japan\u2019s three major festivals. You can also apply for a goshuin stamp or special prayer here. Choose whichever one best suits the wish you want to make come true. Normally, worshippers cannot enter the hall, but they can pass through only on certain days! This is a really rare opportunity. Holiday) 3:30pm-4:30pm<br \/>\nMarch 2nd (Sun.) 3:00pm-4:00pm<\/p>\n<p>You will need a ticket to visit the main shrine to participate in the passing through ceremony (prayers for success)!<br \/>\nTickets are distributed to those who have a &#8220;charm&#8221; or &#8220;prayer&#8221; for passing exams (\u8a66\u9a13\u5408\u683c\u7948\u9858), finding employment (\u5c31\u8077\u6210\u5c31\u7948\u9858), or improving learning and virtues (\u5b66\u5fb3\u5411\u4e0a), which can be purchased at the shrine office. It is advisable to purchase one in advance to get in smoothly.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"anchor3\" style=\"color:#252525;\">Step 03: Recharge Your Energy on the Osaka Tenmangu Shrine Grounds<\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color:#ff4633;\">\u25a0<\/span> Koma-ushi, the divine messenger<\/h3>\n<p>The deity enshrined here, Sugawara no Michizane shares a deep connection with cows. And the divine messenger of Tenmangu Shrine is the cow!<br \/>\nConsidering the circumstances it makes sense. Michizane was born in the year of the ox and a cow saved his life. This cow statue is a <em>nade-ushi<\/em> (rubbing cow), and it&#8217;s said that if you stroke the same part of the cow as a body part that&#8217;s ailing you, you will be cured!<br \/>\nThe statue has clearly been stroked on the head many times. Here you can get a sip of the sacred water that springs from beneath the shrine grounds. This crystal shrine is only open for three days each month, on the 1st, 10th, and 25th! It\u2019s also possible to buy bottled sacred water at the gift shop. Tenjin is really good at finding business opportunities. It was time to recharge my energy from the inside. This is a popular food for exam takers because you can stick your chopsticks through the noodles and they won&#8217;t slip off. The idea is that you won\u2019t fail in eating your noodles or in passing your test.<br \/>\nThis spot is actually famous with comedians too. The dashi stock is robust and the taste is really delicious. Each petal is painted a different color representing a certain category of wishes. If your wishing token lands on one of the petal, your wish is supposed to come true. Aim for the green one, which corresponds to wishes regarding academics.<br \/>\nPersonally, I want a good relationship, all dreams to come true, good health&#8230; Ok, so I just want them all!!
