Choose from 25 devastatingly unique bars and eateries or visit them all. Take your pick of 25 unique eateries<\/h2>\n<p>Shinsaibashi PARCO reopened in Osaka after a 9-year hiatus in November of 2020. And one of my favorite attractions is the restaurant floor in the 2nd basement. It&#8217;s called Shinsaibashi Neon Restaurant Street (\u5fc3\u658e\u6a4b\u30cd\u30aa\u30f3\u98df\u5802\u8857) and it&#8217;s amazing!<\/p>\n<p>Remember the North Building of Shinsaibashi Daimaru? That&#8217;s exactly where it is! And if you don&#8217;t know the building never fear, it&#8217;s extremely easy to find. Take the escalator from Osaka Metro&#8217;s Shinsaibashi Station to the B2 floor and you&#8217;ll see it. Glowing lanterns are sure to catch your eye and draw you into the dining area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3104 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/maido-storage.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com\/maido\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Shinsaibashi-Neon-Restaurant-Street02.jpg\" alt=\"\u5fc3\u658e\u6a4b\u30cd\u30aa\u30f3\u98df\u5802\u8857\u3000\u63d0\u706f\u6a2a\u4e01\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s lots of variety and an impressive selection of international fare! Undoubtedly there is something for everyone! Sadly, I haven&#8217;t been to all 25 yet, but here are 5 highlights out of the restaurants I have visited\u266a<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"anchor2\" style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">\u25cf5 restaurant recommendations<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"color: #ff69b4;\">Cheap Restaurant Stands Sonoda\u00a0(\u5927\u8846\u98df\u5802\u30b9\u30bf\u30f3\u30c9\u3000\u305d\u306e\u3060)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3104 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/maido-storage.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com\/maido\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Shinsaibashi-Neon-Restaurant-Street03.jpg\" alt=\"\u5fc3\u658e\u6a4b\u30cd\u30aa\u30f3\u98df\u5802\u8857\u3000\u5927\u8846\u98df\u5802\u30b9\u30bf\u30f3\u30c9\u305d\u306e\u3060\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Theres always a line at this popular dining spot in Tanimachi 6-chome. And now there is this new location in Shinsaibashi. This cafeteria-like restaurant brings back styles from the Showa era for a nostalgic yet somehow modern dining experience. The menu has lots to try including a meaty tofu, ramen, and anchovy-egg potato salad.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #ff69b4;\">New Sushi Center (\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u3059\u3057\u30bb\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3104 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/maido-storage.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com\/maido\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Shinsaibashi-Neon-Restaurant-Street04-.jpg\" alt=\"\u5fc3\u658e\u6a4b\u30cd\u30aa\u30f3\u98df\u5802\u8857\u3000\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u3059\u3057\u30bb\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>New Sushi Center is a favorite for sushi-lovers at the Tennoji and Nishikujo locations. The prices are great at this sit-down sushi bar. Homemade <em>jiang <\/em>paste, chili oil, \u00a0ground meat, domestically grown sesame seeds come together for an extraordinarily delicious broth filled with thick noodles made from domestically grown wheat. The spicy soup will leave your mouth tingling and craving more.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #ff69b4;\">China Dining Wakabayashi (\u5927\u8846\u4e2d\u83ef\u9152\u5834\u3000\u82e5\u6797)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3104 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/maido-storage.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com\/maido\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Shinsaibashi-Neon-Restaurant-Street07.jpg\" alt=\"\u5fc3\u658e\u6a4b\u30cd\u30aa\u30f3\u98df\u5802\u8857\u3000\u5927\u8846\u4e2d\u83ef\u9152\u5834\u3000\u82e5\u6797\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chinese from a 5-star Michelin chef creating Chinese food you&#8217;ll fall in love with. The menu has a little bit of everything and features a sweet and sour pork that&#8217;s to die for. It&#8217;s a large cut of pork, fried and coated in sweet and sour sauce served with a knife and fork.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"anchor3\" style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">\u25cfUndeniably Instagrammable! A world of photo-spots<\/h2>\n<p>Shinsaibashi Neon Restaurant Street has amazing food, but that&#8217;s not all! Most people recognize the bright lights of Dotonbori as one of Osaka&#8217;s most famous scenes and now there&#8217;s something in nearby Shinsaibashi that&#8217;s right on par. The new neon shine in this underground food zone looks amazing in photographs so snap some photos in the retro atmosphere for your memories and your social media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3104 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/maido-storage.oss-cn-hongkong.aliyuncs.com\/maido\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Shinsaibashi-Neon-Restaurant-Street01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Funny phrases and fashionable signs, this is a fun retro-looking spot!<\/p>\n<p>And when you get off the escalator, you&#8217;ll see this big LED display in the middle of the restaurant floor.
