The park has a long history and is remembered fondly by Osaka residents young and old, since it was established way back in 1873. <\/p>\n<p>The park is home to about 4,000 black pine trees, and boasts a beautiful rose garden, that stretches over approximately 2.7 hectares. In the garden you can see some 6,000 roses of 500 varieties, including wild roses and Japanese varieties in bloom in spring and early winter. The park is open from March to December every year.
