Osakajokoen Station on the JR Loop Line is a great meeting place!

★Storage lockers available
★Great meeting place
It can be confusing to meet someone in a station, but this one has only one ticket gate, so you can’t get lost. Plus there is only one road connected to it, which leads straight to Osaka Castle Hall. Be aware that it can get crowded when the hall is hosting live performances or some type of event. It is connected to Jo-Terrace Osaka by a walkway, so it’s easy to traverse in a wheelchairs and when pushing a stroller.

As soon as you exit the station, you’ll see Jo-Terrace Osaka. This is a great place to stop for food and drinks.
It is also the closest station to Osaka Castle Pier so this is a good station to get off at if you are planning to go on one of the cruises that depart from here. It may be difficult to get a ticket, but I recommend taking a ride if you like boats.

There are also storage lockers on the first floor of Jo-Terrace Osaka near the elevator.
It might be a good idea to leave your luggage while you visit the restaurants.

Osaka Business Park Station on the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line is a little-known station!

★Storage lockers available
★Good meeting place
There is only one ticket gate at this station, so you won’t get lost here either. Although it seems that fewer people use this station, I recommend it because of the great views. When you walk from this station, you’ll cross Gokurakubashi Bridge, which offers a panoramic view of Osaka Castle’s Main Tower. This station is also great if you are planning to ride the golden Gozabune boat, which cruises around the Castle Moat with great views of the castle tower.

Cheap storage lockers at Morinomiya Station on the JR Loop Line and Osaka Metro’s Chuo Line/Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line!

★Storage lockers available
★OK meeting place
If you are looking for cherry blossoms, use Morinomiya Station! We recommend heading west from the cherry blossom trees to the area south of the castle.
One thing to note, there is a restroom outside the West Exit of Osaka Metro’s Morinomiya Station. And Morinomiya Q’s Mall is located nearby, just to south of the park. So if you are visiting with a family and small children, there are a lot of amenities here that you may want to use.
However, please be aware that this station is a fair distance to the castle tower is long and there are steep stairs.

There are also storage lockers right next to exit 7-B at the Osaka Metro Morinomiya Station. These are probably the cheapest lockers in the area around Osaka Castle Park.

There are also storage lockers near the road train stop on the Morinomiya side.

This is the shortest route to the Main Tower. Be aware, it involves more stairs.

Tanimachi 4-chome Station on Osaka Metro’s Tanimachi Line/Chuo Line is near Otemon Gate. But be careful not to go out the wrong exit!

★Storage lockers available
★OK meeting point
For those of you who want to enter from Otemon Gate (the entrance to Osaka Castle), this is the closest station.
This station is also near Osaka Museum of History, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the castle tower, and the vast ruins of Naniwa Palace. So it would be the perfect station for people who want to enjoy cherry blossom viewing from above. However, there are four different ticket gates and they aren’t connected underground. This means if you exit from a different ticket gate from your friends or whoever you are meeting, you will have to navigate above ground, which can be a little bit tricky.

Otemon Gate (seen below) is the entrance to Osaka Castle. There is a slope, but it is gentle enough that this is part of the route for the road train. Additionally, the park’s only taxi stand is located nearby, and there are convenience stores and storage lockers nearby as well.

Amazing cherry blossoms along the Okawa River at Temmabashi Station on the Keihan Railway or Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line!

★Storage lockers available
★Good meeting place
The Osaka Metro and Keihan stations are connected by an underground passage here, so it’s easy to walk between the two. Temmabashi Station is overshadowed by the other nearby stations, which people tend to use when visiting the park. But this one is still a great choice.
The good thing about this station is that you can enjoy the cherry blossoms (Sakura Promenade) along the Okawa River before or after heading to Osaka Castle. So you can expect twice the cherry blossom experience in one outing. You can also take a cruise along the river during sakura season, which boards right from the pier in front of the station.

There is a proper convenience store just outside the Osaka Metro North Gate, so you can stop and shop for things you need for your cherry blossom picnic.

For those who like to walk, JR Osakajokitazume Station and Kyobashi Station on the JR, Keihan, and Osaka Metro are also within walking distance, although not particularly close.
Choose which station is right for you according to your purpose at the park and the different features of each station. And enjoy cherry blossom viewing this season!
