Meet the “Welcome to Osaka! Eki Stamps”

The Shin-Osaka Osaka Tourist Information Center Eki Stamp is green. And the design features Osaka Bob standing next to a Shinkansen with a bento lunch in the background. This design perfectly embodies Shin-Osaka’s image as the gateway to Osaka.

The stamp that you can find in the Umeda Osaka Tourist Information Center is red. You can see the sweeping roof of JR Osaka Station, the iconic Sky Building, and the giant HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel, all a symbol of Umeda. There’s also an outline of Bob and Yuka taking photos together on Yuka’s phone.

The Namba Tourist Information Center stamp is blue. Bob is posing like the mascot on one of Dotonbori’s most famous billboards. And since this is the land of food, the stamp has the Japanese phrase kuidaore emblazoned, encouraging you to eat to excess while you’re in Namba. Plus there are illustrations of foods: takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and crab, as well as the Lion Hall from Namba Yasaka Jinja Shrine.
