Take a Selfie with Your Favorite Ghibli Character at Donguri Kyowakoku

When I stepped onto the 6th floor, the first thing that caught my eye was Donguri Kyowakoku, a Studio Ghibli specialty store.
The shop feels more like a movie set than a store. It was like walking into the world of Ghibli, with a special dreamy atmosphere that even minor fans will love.

One of the biggest highlights has got to be the amazing photo spots inside the store.
Right at the entrance, Totoro is waiting to welcome you in. And to the right, there’s a zone inspired by the world of Spirited Away, complete with a life-sized No-Face!

At the center of the store is a large tree, and if you peek inside its trunk you’ll find a hidden Totoro!
Sit down on one of the wooden benches nearby, and listen to the rumbling “Do-do-dooo” sounds, just like Totoro’s voice.
The store is full of delightful surprises that might make you wonder, “Wait, is this a store? Or am I in Ghibli Park right now?”
It truly feels like the magical world of Ghibli!

Of course, the store is stocked with plenty of Ghibli merchandise.
Not just keychains and stationery, but also apparel, tableware, kitchen tools, and even suncatchers. I found so many playful Ghibli-themed goods that made me think, “Neat! I can’t believe they have this too!”
Ah, no matter how much money I had, it would never be enough to get everything I want.
For today, I settled on a Totoro figure and made my exit.

\Special Points About the Store/
The gift wrapping here is super cute, and it looks like Totoro’s gifts!
If you request wrapping, it even comes with a message card, so you can include a heartfelt note along with your gift.
This is a great place to buy presents for your Ghibli-loving friends!
Unique Popular Figures from Overseas at POP MART

On the 6th floor, you’ll also find POP MART, a hugely popular toy brand beloved by figure collectors.
Known for its unique character figures created by artists and designers from around the world, POP MART’s releases are so in demand that purchases often require reservations or lotteries. When I visited, there was a long queue of lucky winners waiting to pick up their prizes!
In addition to POP MART’s original figures, they sell collaboration figures too, that feature characters from Sanrio, Disney, Marvel, and more. With a selection that satisfies everyone from anime fans to art toy enthusiasts, it’s easy to see why POP MART is such a hit!

POP MART’s products remind me of Japan’s “capsule toys,” because they come in mystery boxes. So you never know which character you’ll get until you open it! The thrill and excitement of the surprise is one of the reasons for their huge popularity, in my opinion.
With their big-headed, eye-catching designs, the POP MART figures have a unique, cohesive style all their own. Being in the store definitely sparked my “collector’s itch” too!
Adorable Mascot Goods from Nagano Mart

This specialty shop is full of adorable character goods from Nagano-sensei. It’s known for the likes of Chiikawa and Jibun Tsukkomi Kuma, which are also incredibly popular!
Located on the 5th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, Nagano Market SHINSAIBASHI sells a wide range of original goods, plush toys, and snacks.
Wrapped in Nagano’s uniquely charming world, a mix of bittersweet yet utterly adorable, it’s easy to lose track of time while browsing here…

The sparkling postcards were absolutely adorable.

By the way, in addition to Nagano Market SHINSAIBASHI, you can also find Chiikawa Land on the 6th floor!
Apparel from TORCH TORCH Featuring Games and Movies

Look for TORCH TORCH, a Japan-original apparel brand specializing in licensed products from games, movies, and anime. The store at Shinsaibashi PARCO is their second permanent location, in addition to its popular store in Shibuya PARCO!

Among the many popular items here are the jewelry and fashion accessories inspired by hit games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring! The collection offers plenty of subtle fan support (oshikatsu) items you can use in daily life, as well as serious fan gear for dedicated Dark Souls and Elden Ring players.
Even though I’m not very familiar with games, I was blown away by the quality of the products here.
I’m sure this store is a must-visit for hardcore fans. On the day I visited, many customers had come from overseas just to get their hands on these special items!
BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store Specializes in Experiential Products

Located on the 6th floor, BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store is an experiential retail space that brings together characters and products from all across the Bandai Namco Group.
Here, you’ll find the official shop for the popular “Ichiban Kuji” lottery prizes you often see at convenience stores, collectible snacks featuring anime character stickers, and the Bandai official Gachapon (capsule toy) shop.

I love collectible snacks like wafer chocolates. And I can’t help but want to grab every pack when I see my favorite anime series! So you can imagine how tempting it was to see all these shelves lined wall-to-wall with treats.
Classics like ONE PIECE, DRAGON BALL, NARUTO, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and BLEACH were all there, of course. And there was a great variety of wafer chocolates from popular newer shows like Pretty Cure, SAKAMOTO DAYS, and The Quintessential Quintuplets! The selection would satisfy every anime fan!

Whether it’s Ichiban Kuji, capsule toys, or wafer chocolates, the fact that you never know what you’ll get or win really adds to the fun. Looks like mystery box-style surprises are a trend of the times.
BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store is a spot where everyonefrom kids to adults—can have fun, making it a great recommendation for families too 🎮 (Though your wallet might not be so lucky > <;)
Rain or Shine, Wpc. Has Character Umbrellas That’ll Make You Smile

Umbrellas come to the rescue during Japan’s hot summers and rainy days. And you’re in luck! On the 5th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, Wpc. offers adorable character-themed parasols that are as cute as they are practical.

Stylish umbrellas printed with popular characters like Mario, Pokémon, Sanrio, Tamagotchi, and Chiikawa caught my eye. I was surprised by just how many different designs they had!
Whether it’s for protection from the strong summer sun or the constant downpour during rainy season, having your favorite character on your parasol definitely lifts your spirits.
Not only do they offer great UV protection, but their cute designs would make them perfect gifts too!
