Hiraoka Plum Grove

Rejoice at the bright plum blossoms, a symbol of winter and a glimpse of spring. Hiraoka Shrine boasts over 500 red and white plum trees and was selected as one of the "100 Aromatic Landscapes" by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment. They also sell plum rice porridge.
