Akuta River, Cherry Blossoms

This river, which flows through Takatsuki, is well loved for its beauty, especially the area around Settsu-kyo Gorge. Every year in May, approximately 1,000 carp streamers are hung overhead for the Children's Day holiday creating picturesque scenery. The fish seem to be swimming against the blue backdrop of the sky.
