Maido! Osaka Bob here!
Quick question—have you ever been confused about how to get somewhere in Japan?
Trains, buses, and taxis are different, depending on which country you’re in. And I’ve heard that a lot of people have trouble when they get to Japan. I’ve heard travelers say things like, “I don’t know how to ride the train” or “Which bus should I get on?” And to be perfectly honest, I didn’t know which trains to get on, and I did have a few problems at the station when I first came to Japan.

If you find this kind of thing stressful, you probably don’t want to have to deal with it on your trip. And so, I have a service I would to recommend that can take you from Osaka to Kyoto’s sightseeing spots.

The trouble with travel— Making a mistake could ruin your plans

Kansai is a great area for sightseeing! Kyoto and Nara are both full of history, with lots of incredible historic architecture. Kobe on the other hand, has a more modern atmosphere and a stylish port. And Osaka is right in the middle, which makes the city an ideal location for travelers to base their trips and visit the many parts of Kansai.

However, getting around can be hard for travelers sometimes.
Most people rely on the trains. But this can be challenging because, for example in Kyoto, even if you make it to JR Kyoto Station on the train, you’ll need to change to the subway or use the buses to get to most tourist destinations in the city.

And if you get on the wrong bus or miss your stop… It can take away the fun of travel.

Also, GRAB and Uber, which are popular overseas, cannot really be used in Japan.

Although it seems easy, some people have trouble getting around when they travel from Osaka to Kyoto for sightseeing.
So, if you want to get to Kinkakuji’s Golden Pavilion without transferring to a new form of transportation, or if you want to visit Kiyomizudera without making a mistake, why not use the Kyoto Flat Rate bus service? Kyoto Flat Rate is a tour that takes you to whichever tourist destinations you choose at the time of booking.

Now I’d like to explain how to use Kyoto Flat Rate.

When you book Kyoto Flat Rate, you can choose three off the list when you make your reservation. The bus will take you right to your selected sightseeing spots on the day of your trip. Recently, Kyoto has had a huge influx of tourists so it is difficult to secure a taxi. So this is a really helpful service!

Of course, some people may like the additional information provided by a guide. However, without one you have the freedom to spend your time as you please until the bus departure time. Enjoy the wonderful scenery at these famous places and search for souvenirs.
