Daiitokuji Temple (大威徳寺)

Kishiwada

This mountain temple is a wonderful place to see the maple leaves of Mt. Ushitaki. The two–storied pagoda is designated an important cultural property and is believed to have been built during the Muromachi period (1336–1573). The bright vermillion of the pagoda is complimented by the brilliant reds and oranges of the surrounding forest in fall, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
