Ha Jinja Shrine

Umeda

Nestled inside the busy buildings of Umeda, near Hankyu Department Store and the giant Hep5 Ferris Wheel, you'll find this little unassuming shrine. It's known for relieving tooth pain, maintaining dental health, fulfilling wishes related to dental businesses and putting on the brakes, so to speak. (Young dental professionals and students often visit the shrine before exam season!)
But it's actually the shrine's affiliation with "putting on the brakes" where the shrine gets its name. Ha Jinja is said to have the ability to stop a bad situation from getting worse and to protect us from natural disasters.
