Mount Kongo (金剛山)

The highest peak (1125m) of the Kongo Katsuragi range, stretching between Osaka and Nara Prefectures
Approximately 10 hiking courses to chose from. Children and older hikers will have no trouble finding a trail to meet their desired difficulty level. Katsuragi Shrine and Tenporinji Temple are located near the top of the mountain, and the Site of Chihaya Castle can be reached via hiking trail. 「 This is an ideal place to view autumn foliage and the trees are painted white with frost in winter.
