Ōe Jinja Shrine

Tennoji

Ōe Jinja is one of the Seven Shitennoji Temples. This particular shrine is popular with Hanshin Tigers fans because the guardians to the main shrine (koma-inu) are tiger statues, rather than the traditional lion-dog statues. The torii gate faces Aizen-zaka, one of the Seven Slopes of Tennoji, where you can see beautiful sunsets looking out over the city of Osaka.
