Sempukan (泉布観)

Tenma, Sakuranomiya

Osaka's first western-style building, the Sempukan was constructed in 1871. With a second floor veranda and colonial style architecture, it is noticeably unique. Located near the Japan Mint, one of the city's most famous cherry blossom viewing locations, Sempukan also has beautiful sakura in the garden, which, when in bloom, bring out the building's pink accents.
