This museum celebrates the history of bicycles, their many uses, and their role in a sustainable future society. The two theaters and multiple showrooms will bring you closer to the wonders of this human-powered invention that has won the hearts of so many cyclists since its invention over 2 centuries ago.
World-famous cycle parts manufacturer Shimano is headquartered in Sakai and the museum has a showroom featuring the city's relationship with bicycles and its important role in manufacturing.
The museum is also affiliated with the bicycle classes and classic bicycle replica trial course that is open in Daisen Park on weekends.
